Colby Wedgeworth

Colby Wedgeworth first turned heads after penning the chart-topping hit “The River” for Jordan Feliz, which was honored as ASCAP Song of the Year in 2017. Since then, the compelling melodies have flowed one after another from Zach Williams’ “Old Church Choir” and Tauren Wells’ “When We Pray” to Mandisa’s “Unfinished” and Colton Dixon’s “All That Matters.” Colby was honored once again by ASCAP as their Songwriter of the Year in 2018, and a Dove Award for Songwriter of the Year followed suit, also in 2018. Let’s also not forget the recent Grammy nom for Best Contemporary Christian Song for Danny Gokey’s “Haven’t Seen It Yet.”

With a versatility that allows him to work across myriad genres, Colby brings a rare blend of experience and openness to each project. His authentic lyrical approach is matched only by his pop savvy, resulting in songs with both style and substance, no matter the genre. It’s not surprising, then, that Colby has written successful cuts for/with such a wide array of today’s most popular artists, such as the Newsboys, The Maine, Jeremy Camp, Social Club Misfits, Tenth Avenue North, Riley Clemmons and many more.
